Weld Mold® 330

Weld Mold 330 is a15% chromium, 35% nickel alloy used for welding type 330 stainless or stainless castings such as ACI, HT and HU for high temperature service.

Applications

For high temperature service such as heat treat baskets, high temperature castings and for 330 stainless base metals.

Procedure

Clean all areas to be welded and keep interpass temperatures as low as possible while welding on 300 series stainless steels.

SMAW - DC+ Low Hydrogen
GMAW - (short circuit) 92% Ar 8% CO2 or (spray) 90% He 7.5% Ar 2.5% CO2
GTAW - DC- 100%Ar

• Tensile Strength: 80,000 – 90,000 psi
• Yield Strength: 45,000 – 60,000 psi
• Elongation: up to 30 – 35%
• Hardness (BHN): 160-190
