Weld Mold® 202
The ultimate all positions material, which produces x-ray quality weld deposits. Free machining qualities accompanied by superior impact and sub-zero mechanical properties enables 202 to out-perform all mild steel filler materials on “problem” steels containing sulphur, graphite, or other elements added to improve machinability. Preferred in many applications where stainless steel electrodes are used.
Applications
Maintenance of industrial plant steam pipes and on other crack sensitive steels where conventional materials fail. Unsurpassed for welding all types of high strength wrought and cast steel structures. Well suited for heavy build-up prior to surfacing with a high alloy. In the electrode form this material can run in the vertical up position on thick sections.
Procedure
This material should not require any special considerations when welding.

GMAW - DC+ 100% Ar or 92%Ar/8% CO2
FCAW - DC+ 100% CO2
GTAW - DC- 100%Ar
