Weld Mold® 26-C
Weld Mold 26-C embodies super capillary wetting action and thin flowing characteristics that produce extraordinary shear and tensile properties. 26-C can be applied with very low heat which minimizes distortion.
Applications
For applying carbide tips and other cutting edges on tool such as mill cutters, drills, and slitting knives. Excellent for use on sheet metal, galvanized iron, as well as stainless steels. Commonly used to repair and fabricate carbon, alloy and tool steels.
Procedure
Clean or grind surfaces to be joined and align as close as possible. Bevel heavy sections. Using a neutral flame hold flame cone close to the joint and employ typical brazing technique. Allow flux and alloy to melt off simultaneously.
