Weld Mold® 4000-B
Weld Mold 4000BC is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum and iron electrode. 4000BC is very similar to 4000AC but was designed to operate in applications where magnetic forces (arc blow) are an issue.
Applications
4000BC is used for welding various combinations of inconel®, monel®, stainless, nickel alloys and mild steels. Ideal for welding on 9% nickel.
Procedure
No pre-heat is required on inconel® or stainless products. Pre-heat according to base metal being welded. Use stringer passes or very slight weave using short arc.
