Weld Mold® 3320
Weld Mold 3320 is a high chrome-nickel-molybdenum-copper bearing stainless steel used when resistance to many different chemicals is required. Weld Mold 3320 wire is equivalent to AWS 320 stainless.
Applications
Primarily used for stainless steels of similar composition. Also used for ®Carpenter 20 and castings of the ACI CN-7M variety. This alloy is suitable for hot sulfuric acid in concentrations and temperatures too high for 316 and 317 stainless. Clean area to be welded and keep interpass temperatures and pre-heats to a minimum.
Procedure
Clean all areas to be welded. Keep interpass temperatures as low as possible while welding on 300 series stainless steels.
