Weld Mold® 42-C
Weld Mold 42-C is a general-purpose low fuming coated brazing rod that produces excellent bonds on all types of metals. Welds over rust and dirt with relatively little fumes produced. 42-C is excellent for either thin flowing or bead forming applications.
Applications
42-C provides excellent bonds even when used for dissimilar metal combinations. It is Ideal for use on auto bodies and other sheet metal applications as well as for general-purpose usage on cast iron, steel, copper, galvanized, yellow brasses and bronze metals.
Procedure
For best results joint area should be clean, however rusty steels and iron can be joined without cleaning. Fit up as close as possible. The operator should bevel heavy sections. Use a neutral flame and apply with a conventional brazing technique.
